Volleyball Recap: Greene Central Comes Up Short

Greene Central and South Lenoir squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Greene Central had to settle for second. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 3-0. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.

Greene Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for South Lenoir, their victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-15.

As of now, neither Greene Central nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
