Volleyball Recap: Will Carleton Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Will Carleton Academy took on Pittsford on Saturday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Tuesday.

Will Carleton Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-8-4 record this season. As for Pittsford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Will Carleton Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Litchfield on the 18th. Hopefully Pittsford paid attention to the Cougars' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
