Flag Football Recap: Colquitt County Piles Up the Points Against Worth County

Colquitt County got themselves on the board against Worth County on Thursday, but Worth County never followed suit. They breezed past the Rams to the tune of 51-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Packers.

Colquitt County found their leader in freshman Dyi'Quacious James, who rushed for 101 yards and two TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Brown, who gained 38 total yards and three touchdowns.

Colquitt County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Colquitt County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Marley Armstrong, Dru McLeod, CJ Cooper, and Brown picked up one apiece. McLeod got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Colquitt County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Worth County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Colquitt County has already played their next game, a 20-6 defeat against Thomas County Central on the 14th. As for Worth County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 28-0 loss against Monroe on the 14th.
