Basketball Recap: Grafton Takes a Loss

Grafton lost against East Fairmont back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grafton Bearcats took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Fairmont Bees.

East Fairmont found their leader in sophomore River Mcclain, who shot 70% from the field en route to 23 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcclain has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cole VanGilder, who posted 13 points.

Grafton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for East Fairmont, they moved to 8-12 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
