While Chadwick's victory against Mountain Grove wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-30 win over the Panthers on Thursday. The 32-point effort marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Chadwick is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points over those games. As for Mountain Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

Chadwick and Mountain Grove will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Cardinals see the court they'll take on Hurley at 5:30 p.m. on February 2. As for Mountain Grove, their break will end when they face Ava at 6:00 p.m. on February 2.
