Recap: Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles vs. Loveland Tigers
The Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 76-68 win over Loveland. Given Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Loveland is ranked 457th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Luke Sanders was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Woods, who scored 18 points.
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Loveland, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy will challenge St. Xavier at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Loveland, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Brown at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
