Softball Recap: Springville Takes Down Ranked Northside

Springville faced Northside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Springville's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 34-10-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Northside, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 40-13-1.

Springville has already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against St. Clair County on the 14th. Northside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
