While Highland's victory against Lancaster wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Eagles on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Lancaster, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 17-10 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Highland will challenge rival Littlerock at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lancaster is set to take on their familiar foe Quartz Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
