Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts was: they took every set by at least 20 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-1, 25-2.

Kaia Foster had an outrageously good game as she had 11 aces. Those 11 aces gave her a new career-high. Marisa Green also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 50 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive games.

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' record now sits at 6-1. As for Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lookout Valley on the 28th. Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy has also already played their next match (against Polk County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
