Coachella Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Israel Garcia, who posted 20 points. That was a full 34.5% of Coachella Valley's points, marking the third time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Franky Aguirre was another key player, going 6 for 13 on his way to 17 points and three steals.

Coachella Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Buena, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9.

Coachella Valley and Stevenson will face off at 2:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Buena, they will venture away from home to square off against Wilsonville at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
