Volleyball Recap: KIPP Denver Collegiate Takes a Loss

KIPP Denver Collegiate came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Vista PEAK Prep Bison.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-15.

KIPP Denver Collegiate's offense was headlined by Lizely Villa and Zoe Haataja, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Lluvia Granados and her five assists. Camila Santos controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

KIPP Denver Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 12-5.

KIPP Denver Collegiate has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against DSST: Conservatory Green on the 24th. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Northfield on the 24th.
