The Community Christian Royals will take on the Stillwater Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Community Christian is looking to tack on another W to their 13-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Last Tuesday, Community Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Choctaw, taking the game 3-1.
Meanwhile, Stillwater lost 3-0 to Mustang on Thursday. The Pioneers haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Stillwater couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Mustang a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-20, 25-21.
Despite the loss, Stillwater got top-tier performance from Abby Terantino, who had 20 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Rattay, who had 11 digs.
Community Christian's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Stillwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-19.
Community Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Stillwater in their previous meeting back in August of 2023, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Community Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
