Volleyball Game Preview: West Lowndes Panthers vs. Heritage Academy Patriots

West Lowndes hasn't had much luck against Heritage Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, West Lowndes came up short against Smithville and fell 3-1.

West Lowndes was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Smithville work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 27-29, 27-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Heritage Academy also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Pillow Academy by a score of 3-1. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Pillow Academy scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-23-2. As for West Lowndes, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
