Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Penobscot Valley hit Central with a four-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Red Devils fell 10-5 to the Howlers. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Penobscot Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-7 record this season.

Central is taking a road trip to face off against Orono at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Penobscot Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Schenck at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
