Basketball Recap: Evansville Bosse Comes Up Short

Evansville Bosse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pike Central Chargers. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 31-19 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Evansville Bosse's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pike Central, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

Evansville Bosse will take on Wood Memorial in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wood Memorial will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Evansville Bosse surely won't give up without a fight. Pike Central and Perry Central will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
