Baseball Recap: Texico Wolverines vs. Tularosa Wildcats
Texico extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping their season record down to 3-10 in the process. They lost 18-8 to the Tularosa Wildcats. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.
Edgar Mendoza was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Jesus Chavez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.
