Softball Recap: HCYA vs. St. Agnes Academy Tigers

HCYA proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by eight) but on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the St. Agnes Academy Tigers out 5-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as HCYA also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Addilynn Hall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on 12 hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kiran Kyham, who scored a run and stole two bases. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylee Hall, who scored a run and stole two bases.
