Basketball Recap: Lexington Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lexington was the 41-39 winner over Wakefield Memorial when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lexington Minutemen fell 58-45 to the Wakefield Memorial Warriors on Friday.

Lexington's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6. As for Wakefield Memorial, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Lexington has already played their next match (against Arlington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wakefield Memorial will venture away from home to challenge St. Mary's at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
