Soccer Game Preview: Royal vs. Sealy

Royal is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Sealy is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Royal Falcons will host the Sealy Tigers at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Royal is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Hempstead get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Friday. Considering the Falcons have won 11 matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Hempstead from everywhere, as ten different players booted in a goal. Jerson Perez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Sealy made easy work of New Waverly on Friday and carried off a 4-1 victory. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly three goals.

Royal is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 85 goals over those 12 contests. Sealy's win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Everything went Royal's way against Sealy in their previous matchup back in January, as Royal made off with a 7-4 victory. Does Royal have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sealy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
