Volleyball Recap: East Lincoln Mustangs vs. Parkwood Wolf Pack
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Lincoln had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Parkwood Wolf Pack as they made off with a 3-0 win.
East Lincoln never let Parkwood on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 26-24.
Carly Puckett was nothing short of spectacular: she had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Thornton, who had 12 digs.
East Lincoln was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkwood only served three.
The victory got East Lincoln back to even at 13-13. As for Parkwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-7.
East Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against West Rowan on the 24th. Parkwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
