Soccer Recap: Coweta Takes a Loss

Coweta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Will Rogers College Ropers. That's two games in a row now that Coweta have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Landon Stephens, who's now up to four this season.

Coweta's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Will Rogers College, they pushed their record up to 8-5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Coweta will challenge rival Shawnee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Will Rogers College is set to take on their familiar foe Nathan Hale at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
