Volleyball Recap: Pikeville Starts Season with Win Against Letcher County Central

Pikeville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Everything went their way against the Letcher County Central Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Pikeville walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-24, 25-15.

Letcher County Central's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-7.

Coincidentally, Pikeville and Letcher County Central will both be playing Perry County Central the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Commodores at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
