On Friday Carlson's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Trenton Trojans 17-14. Surprisingly, this marked the Marauders' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Izaiah Wright was his usual excellent self, rushing for 112 yards and one TD. Noah Latzy was in the mix as well, providing Carlson with one score.

Trenton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Anthony Hawkins, who rushed for 105 yards on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another back making a difference was Tyler Crook, who gained 111 total yards and a touchdown.

Carlson's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Trenton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Carlson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 48-8 victory against Taylor on the 26th. As for Trenton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 24-7 defeat against Milford on the 26th.
