Baseball Recap: Olmsted Comes Up Short

Olmsted managed to slip by Hutchinson-Central Tech the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Owls lost 11-0 to the Engineers on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Owls' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for Olmsted and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Hutchinson-Central Tech, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Olmsted and Hutchinson-Central Tech will both be playing McKinley the next time they take the field. The Owls will host the Macks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Engineers will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
