Baseball Recap: Klein Cain Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Klein Cain and Midway squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Klein Cain had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 9-8. That's two games in a row now that the Hurricanes have lost by just one run.

Alex Mayon was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

Klein Cain's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-9-3. As for Midway, they pushed their record up to 30-7 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Klein Cain nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
