Basketball Recap: West Florida Find Success

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but West Florida ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They slipped by the Pace Patriots 49-48. The squad ran away with 33 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

Brayden Justice continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 14 points along with five boards and four steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Kayleb Johnson was another key player, posting six points.

West Florida's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Pace, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

West Florida wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 82-62 win against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy on the 29th. Pace has also already played their next contest, a 52-32 defeat against Niceville on the 29th.
