It was a good run, but Ridgeland unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Choctaw Central Warriors. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.

Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Choctaw Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Coincidentally, Ridgeland and Choctaw Central will both be playing Petal the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
