McGehee and Fordyce are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2015, but not for long. The Owls will challenge the Redbugs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

McGehee took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dumas 50-22. With the Owls ahead 30-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Fordyce beat Rison 20-14 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redbugs.

Fordyce's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for McGehee, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

McGehee suffered a grim 30-10 defeat to Fordyce in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Owls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
