Football Game Preview: Franklin County Tech Eagles vs. Cape Cod RVT Crusaders + How To Watch

The Franklin County Tech Eagles will take on the Cape Cod RVT Crusaders at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cape Cod RVT will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Franklin County Tech extended their winning streak to five on Thursday. Everything went the Eagles' way against Northampton as they made off with a 33-8 victory.

The critical scores for Franklin County Tech came from Nathan Sabolevski, Hunter Donahue, Cole Bassett, Nolyn Stafford, and Maxon Brunette.

Franklin County Tech was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 268 rushing yards. They are a perfect 6-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Franklin County Tech, racking up 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brunette, who ran a punt back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a kickoff return touchdown from Donahue.

Meanwhile, Cape Cod RVT won against Holbrook two weeks ago with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Crusaders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Old Colony RVT 42-8.

Franklin County Tech's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Cape Cod RVT, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Franklin County Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Cape Cod RVT in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with a 16-12 victory.
