Basketball Recap: Phil Campbell Takes a Loss

Phil Campbell lost against Sheffield back in February of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Phil Campbell Bobcats took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheffield Bulldogs.

Phil Campbell has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Sheffield, their win ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phil Campbell won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Russellville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sheffield, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Shoals Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sheffield is facing Shoals Christian at the right time seeing as Shoals Christian is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
