Football Game Preview: St. Edward Green Wave vs. Chicago Christian Knights

The St. Edward Green Wave are taking a road trip to take on the Chicago Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

St. Edward's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Wheaton Academy on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Warriors. The Green Wave have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Chicago Christian also failed to score in their most recent game. They were dealt a 43-0 loss at the hands of Marian Central Catholic on Friday.

Chicago Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. Edward, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.

St. Edward took a serious blow against Chicago Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 41-6. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Green Wave were down 41-0.
