For the first time this season, Evanston will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the New Trier Trevians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evanston will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Evanston proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat Loyola Academy by a goal, winning 3-2. Three seems to be a good number for Evanston as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, New Trier faced Naperville North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Trevians who were credited with the victory. New Trier got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Naperville North's three. The result kept New Trier happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

New Trier has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-0-2 record this season. As for Evanston, their win bumped their record up to 7-1-2.
