Basketball Game Preview: Madison Jaguars vs. Ouachita Christian Eagles

The Madison Jaguars will face off against the Ouachita Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Madison came up short against Rayville and fell 38-31.

Meanwhile, Ouachita Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gators 54-9. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Ouachita Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.2 points per game. As for Madison, they dropped their record down to 6-16 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
