Baseball Recap: Cuba Takes a Loss

Cuba made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mountain Grove, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Cuba's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Mountain Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cuba will face off against New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mountain Grove, they will take on Mansfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
