The Boyertown Bears will take on the Upper Perkiomen Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Boyertown's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
Boyertown's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Norristown as they made off with a 15-0 win. Considering the Bears have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Boyertown got a massive performance out of Kyra Neiswender, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Neiswender a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylor Wilson, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Boyertown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .679. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive matches.
Upper Merion Area hit Upper Perkiomen with a six-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.
Olivia Gehringer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Kristina Molnar was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
Boyertown's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Upper Perkiomen, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Boyertown hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .384. However, it's not like Upper Perkiomen struggles in that department as they've averaged .315. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
