Croatan not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 26, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Pamlico County Hurricanes with a sharp 3-0 victory. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Hurricanes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Croatan took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-9.

Croatan has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Croatan will head out to challenge J.H. Rose at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pamlico County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Swansboro on the 13th.
