Basketball Recap: Riverside Christian Takes a Loss

If Riverside Christian was feeling good fresh off their 72-36 takedown of Highland last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Riverside Christian Crusaders took a 66-50 bruising from the Sunnyside Christian Knights on Friday. The Crusaders have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Riverside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Sunnyside Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

As for Sunnyside Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Yakama Nation Tribal at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sunnyside Christian is facing Yakama Nation Tribal at the right time seeing as Yakama Nation Tribal is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
