Volleyball Recap: Kameron Cloninger and Kaylin Gines Secure Win for Mary Walker

Mary Walker waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Cusick Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Chargers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mary Walker was led to victory by Kaylin Gines and Kameron Cloninger. Gines hit 72.4% for 22 kills and 15 digs, three aces, and one block, while Cloninger had six digs and two aces. Those six digs gave Cloninger a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Mary Walker was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 14 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
