Baseball Recap: Inland Lakes Comes Up Short

Inland Lakes lost against Big Rapids back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly five runs.

Inland Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Big Rapids, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inland Lakes will take on Mancelona at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Big Rapids, they will square off against Mt. Pleasant at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
