Basketball Recap: Northwest Christian School Starts Season with Win Against Columbia + How To Watch

Northwest Christian School had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 74-43 win over the Columbia Coyotes. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Crusaders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Coyotes are ranked 145th).

Caleb Grant went supernova, shooting 81% from the field to rack up 30 points and seven rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Pope, who posted 11 points.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Northwest Christian School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 82-30 victory against Colville on the 6th. As for Columbia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-44 win against La Salle on the 6th.
