Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Dragons vs. Geneva Eagles
Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Geneva Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-16, 18-25, 25-18, 25-22.
Geneva found their leader in underclassman Cora Brace, who had 22 digs and three aces. Brace has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last 11 times she's played.
Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Geneva, they pushed their record up to 4-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
