Soccer Recap: Manistee Beats Ravenna for Their Fifth Straight Win

While Manistee didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-11-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They skirted past the Ravenna Bulldogs 4-3. This was payback for Manistee, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory keeps Manistee at an undefeated 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five games. As for Ravenna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manistee will square off against Fremont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Manistee will need to watch out since Fremont have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season. As for Ravenna, they will challenge Shelby at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
