Softball Preview: Indiana Little Indians vs. Armstrong River Hawks        
        
		
            
 Indiana is 1-7 against Armstrong since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Indiana Little Indians will head out on the road to  take on  the Armstrong River Hawks at 3:45  p.m. Indiana will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
 Indiana can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Monday. They never let Knoch onto the board and left with  a   7-0  win.
  Olivia Zimmerman made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Zimmerman has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 14 consecutive pitching appearances. Zimmerman was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Maggie Cunningham was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Addie Stossel, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Armstrong had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with  a   6-1  victory over Deer Lakes  on April 3rd.
 Indiana's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Armstrong, their record now sits at 1-0.
 Indiana suffered a grim  8-1 defeat to Armstrong  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023. Can Indiana avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
