Football Game Preview: Chandler Wolves vs. Hamilton Huskies + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Will Mencl and Jax Sculley are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Chandler Wolves will square off against the Hamilton Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Chandler is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 45-34 victory over Brophy College Prep. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Mencl and Case Vanden Bosch. Mencl had a great game and rushed for 146 yards and three scores while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Vanden Bosch was balling out in the loss, throwing for 372 yards and four TDs, while also rushing for 68 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Hamilton faced Mountain View in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Huskies came out on top against the Toros by a score of 35-27.

Hamilton's win came from a few key players Chandler will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jacob Brown, who rushed for 136 yards and a pair of scores. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Hamilton also got a significant boost from Skyler Cole, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 112 yards.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Chandler, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Things could have been worse for Chandler, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-41 loss to Hamilton in their previous meeting on November 7th. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
