Basketball Recap: Madison East Comes Up Short

Madison East was the 75-67 winner over Watertown when they last played one another back in March of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Madison East Purgolders took a 67-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Watertown Goslings. The Purgolders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Watertown, they moved to 5-19 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Watertown beat Madison East by a score of 67-63 on Tuesday.
