Basketball Recap: Ebarb Comes Up Short

If Ebarb was feeling good fresh off their 79-57 takedown of Logansport last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ebarb Rebels fell to the Stanley Panthers 67-62. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 68-59.

Ebarb dropped their record down to 7-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Stanley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ebarb will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Simsboro at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Simsboro's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Stanley, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Stanley Panthers duke it out with the Logansport Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
