Las Vegas entered their tilt with Mater Academy East Las Vegas on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights.

Las Vegas never let Mater Academy East Las Vegas on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 27-25, 25-17.

Aaliyah Jones paced Las Vegas' offense, picking up 11 kills. Jones got some help from Millie Mangum and her 22 assists. Mangum was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Las Vegas' victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Las Vegas and The Meadows School will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, they will head out to challenge Amplus Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
