Football Game Preview: Marysville Getchell vs. Marysville-Pilchuck

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Marysville-Pilchuck. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Marysville Getchell at 7:00 PM. Marysville-Pilchuck will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Marysville-Pilchuck were able to grind out a solid win over Stanwood last Friday, winning 34-24.

Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Marysville Getchell, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Arlington, sneaking past 17-14.

Marysville-Pilchuck took the game and then some with a 42-6 victory the last time the two teams met over Marysville Getchell. Will Marysville-Pilchuck repeat their success, or does Marysville Getchell have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
