Softball Recap: Shaker Heights Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Shaker Heights made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Rhodes, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Red Raiders were the clear victors by a 26-5 margin over the Rams on Saturday. Fans of the Red Raiders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Shaker Heights got a massive performance out of Emerson Miller, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Emilia Chevraux was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

The win was the third in a row for Shaker Heights, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 20.7 runs this season. As for Rhodes, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
