Volleyball Recap: Ottawa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ottawa lost against Sycamore on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Spartans.

Ottawa may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20.

Kerrigan Cooney paced Ottawa's offense, picking up six kills. Cooney got some help from Ashlynn Ganiere and her nine assists.

Ottawa has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-21-2 record this season. As for Sycamore, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ottawa will challenge rival Rochelle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sycamore is set to square off against their familiar foe Morris at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
